Description
This colourway was part of the original set that was available almost 40 years ago, a familiar palette that has seen the likes of other ‘80s sporting classics such as the Nike Bruin and Dunk High. Just like on the “OG” iteration, the upper is formed from a mixture of mesh and leather, with five perforations on the sidewall for added breathability. The terry cloth lining also stays true to the shoe’s performance roots, as is the case with the double-layered heel panel which was designed to increase stability. A set of flat white laces come threaded on to the upper, matching the clean white tooling that forgoes any need for aged detailing. As the name suggests, no Air unit exists within the EVA midsole below, meaning these are about as comfy as your standard pair of Dunks. On the foam tongue, a chequered finish rounds off the branding for this retro’d cult classic.
