Description
Although the blotch-laden design that extends across the upcoming sneakers’ upper is compelling, the most distinct detail on the pair is unquestionably its shape. The uninitiated might believe this is a new development, but it’s simply a return-to-form for Peter Moore’s iconic basketball silhouette. At a glance, the silhouette largely follows what’s been reworked by Nike SB and Nike Sportswear categories, but closer inspection of the collar and heel area reveal a noticeable difference in trim. Furthermore, the overtly-“aged” panels across the top-half and the modified midsole harken back to the Nike Dunk‘s debut 1985 year. Lastly, the sneaker’s shoe box also indulges in vintage flair, donning a series of new graphics and colors.
